What is a Haiku

-

A haiku is a poem that consists of 3 lines which follows the syllabic pattern of 5 - 7 - 5.

 

FYI - A syllable is the  sound of the vowel.

Example of haiku -


Winter is so cold,

While summer is pretty hot,

As spring has a breeze.
