When you have fun, time doesn't exist.  When you are hopeful you feel happy or  excited. When you are discouraged you feel down and sad. If you’re hopeful  you succeed. If you’re discouraged you don’t  achieve what you want. Days like the day I left  India for my dad’s work are sad but we must be  hopeful for the things that await us like when  my baby sister was born and a new seed which  will become a tree introduced to the world or the  times I do something I enjoy like reading or building  and making stuff. Always be hopeful and never give  up even if you are feeling sad and discouraged. Life will throw challenges like a thunderstorm  but you must catch them and solve them and  eventually the storm will pass.You should never  let the cookie crumble. The light at the end of the  dark tunnel is the start to the  journey of doing great things.  

  At times,              I cried end of that sad movie or book  But that Day, My family left India for my dad’s work             I felt the piercing melancholy.             I said goodbye to my friends. Then I told myself, If you’re discouraged             you feel down and sad,you don’t achieve what you want.  When you have fun,  You feel time doesn't exist. When you are hopeful, you get to feel the real joy,you succeed! Days like the day I left my dear friends are sad but I must be hopeful for the things that await me, like; When my baby sister was born, that small tiny seedling; the little sparkle of joy!  These are the books I read in August 2023. I get most of my books from the local library. The Last Kids on Earth Max Brallier Illustrated by Douglas Holgate The Last Kids on Earth is a wonderful book all about four kids who get stuck in a monster apocalypse. A boy named Jack Sulivan was all alone as his foster parents left on day 1. Jack contacted his best friend, Quint Baker and they lived together in Jack's foster brother's treehouse. Later they met Dirk Savage, a bull in their school. Quint and Jack started to become friends with Dirk. Dirk was living with them in their treehouse and they were now looking for June del Toro, Jack's school crush. Once they found her they defeat a huge monster called Blarg and thats the end of the story for now.   Diwali is an Indian festival that Hindus all over the world celebrate. Diwali is also known as the festival of lights. It is celebrated in Northern India to remember the day in which Lord Rama returned to his kingdom in Ayodhya, after defeating the demon king Ravan . In Southern India it is celebrated as Lord Krishna defeating the demon Narakasura.     In this year it is celebrated on 24th October. Diwali is celebrated in 5 days. These days for this year are -  Day 1: Dhanteras - October 22. Day 2: Chhoti Diwali — October 23. Day 3: Diwali — October 24. Day 4: Govardhan Puja — October 25. Day 5: Bhai Dooj -October 26. On Diwali, it is a tradition to light firecrackers, chakra, rockets etc. On the day of Diwali we decorate our homes with lights and Rangoli. A haiku is a poem that consists of 3 lines which follows the syllabic pattern of 5 - 7 - 5.   FYI - A syllable is the  sound of the vowel. Example of haiku - Winter is so cold, While summer is pretty hot, As spring has a breeze.
